I have had many problems with candy in my life. In the 4th grade, I ate two king size Butterfingers at once to make kids laugh and barfed them up. Fast forward to my adult years and I had a year long love affair with Oreos to the point I would hide them from my kids and eat them in the laundry room. This post is taking a weird turn….
Thankfully, I can’t eat gluten anymore so the Oreos have been laid to rest. However, welcome Hershey’s chocolate to the stage! I love it. Love it all. I NEVER ate plain chocolate until after my third baby so I blame her for whatever she did to my body chemistry.
It makes sense that I would want to use Hershey Kisses for a special Halloween treat. Here is what you will need:
Black glitter cardstock
Hot glue gun
Scissors
Black glitter ribbon
Halloween Kisses
And some patience with the ribbon part because it is a butthole
I used a lid to a bottle to trace and cut out the circles to be the hat brim and glued a kiss in the center of each of them. I use hot glue on chocolate candies quite regularly for parties and crafts and it never messes with the chocolate. It’s a question for God one day….
Then, I cut a small strip of ribbon and even cut it in half length wise. I wrapped it around the bottom of the kiss, securing it with a drop of hot glue. Once secured, I knotted the sucker and there you go! Witch hats!
I didn’t see these anywhere on Pinterest when I searched for them to see if they existed, so hopefully at the time I’m posting this, it’s an original idea for you!
Pin, share, enjoy you silly goblin face.
